Technical Translation for Design and Manufacturing

I made many 3D CAD models for Timex Corp.’s Industrial Design Department. The cad models met engineering and manufacturing requirements and maintained the original design intent.

I used Unigraphics to make this CAD model and render it. The designer’s intent of the sculptural shape of the Ironman digital watch and strap is shown in these images.

The challenge with this project was to make the stainless steel case of this watch be water resistant to 200 meters, be shock resistant and maintain the integrated look of the original design.
